Gwalior: A 16-year-old Class 12 pupil dedicated suicide allegedly after he was scolded and punished by the principal and the category trainer over the bursting of crackers on the premises of a personal institute in Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior district, police mentioned on Sunday.
A case of abetment of suicide has been registered towards the principal and the category trainer, an official mentioned.
Police officer Ramesh Shakya mentioned some college students had burst crackers in a personal increased secondary faculty in Tekanpur space on November 3, following which the principal and sophistication trainer scolded the category 12 pupil.
In accordance with the criticism, they detained {the teenager} for about an hour after faculty hours and warned him of expulsion from the institute on Thursday, he mentioned.
On reaching dwelling, he allegedly hanged himself, the police officer mentioned.
