SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — North Korea’s navy says its current barrage of missile exams had been follow to assault its rivals’ air bases and warplanes and paralyze operation command methods.
The North’s navy mentioned Monday its missile exams had been response to final week’s large air pressure drills between the U.S. and South Korea, which Pyongyang views as an invasion rehearsal.
The North says its missile exams confirmed its resolve to counter provocative U.S.-South Korean navy drills “extra totally and mercilessly.”
U.S. and South Korean officers have strongly condemned the North’s missile launches, saying their drills had been defensive in nature.
