A 33-year-old animal activist was severely injured after three individuals allegedly beat him up for providing meals to stray canines in Maharashtra’s Nagpur metropolis, the police stated.

The incident happened in Mankapur space late Sunday evening following which the accused had been arrested, they stated.
When the sufferer, Vikas Krishna Malwar, was feeding the stray animals, the three accused got here to the spot and objected to it, an official from Mankapur police station stated.
The accused allegedly beat up the sufferer severely. Malwar suffered severe accidents and the police later took him to a hospital, the official stated.
Medical doctors on the hospital noticed that each eardrums of the sufferer had been broken within the assault, the police stated.
A case was registered towards the accused on Tuesday below related provisions, they added.
