BEIJING, Nov. 11 — China Coast Guard (CCG) Taizhou Bureau in Zhejiang Province, becoming a member of with native police and procuratorate, launched a destruction exercise for the medicine seized in a significant maritime smuggling case on November 4. Witnessed by legislation enforcement officers from the three models, 1.49 tons of medicine had been burned in an incinerator for innocent destruction.
It’s learnt that the medicine had been seized from the “6.01 Main Maritime Drug Smuggling Case” investigated and dealt with by the Zhejiang Coast Guard and native police in 2018, throughout which a complete of 164 packing containers of methamphetamine had been seized with a complete weight of 1.49 tons. After two years of pursuit, overview, prosecution and judgment, the case was sentenced in Taizhou Intermediate Individuals’s Courtroom on June 13, 2020, and 18 suspects had been severely punished by legislation.
