Shell awards three companies contracts to Petrofac in Oman
Providers firm Petrofac has been chosen by Shell to undertake new engineering and procurement companies (EPS) scopes in Oman, it mentioned on November 30.
The primary is a five-year EPS contract for Shell’s Block-10 Mabrouk Section-2 challenge, positioned within the Al Wusta Governate of Oman – round 400km from the capital, Muscat. The scope consists of well-pads for a number of wells, distant manifold stations and connecting pipeline, together with water infrastructure for properly improvement and a discipline operations base.
Two additional contracts, to supply residual engineering and procurement companies to finish Section-1B of the Block-10 improvement, have been secured underneath Petrofac’s world enterprise framework settlement with Shell.
Shell Built-in Fuel Oman, a subsidiary of Shell, together with its companions, OQ and Marsa Liquefied Pure Fuel, signed a concession settlement to develop and produce pure gasoline from Block-10 in December 2021. Shell turned the operator of the sector on the signing.
