The much-awaited Avatar: The Means of Water, the sequel to James Cameron’s epic sci-fi journey Avatar, can be screened in Kerala following a consensus reached between the Movie Exhibitors’ United Organisation of Kerala (FEUOK) and the film’s distributor.
FEUOK had earlier opposed the discharge saying that the distributor had demanded 60% share of the collections in opposition to the present share sample of fifty% earmarked for other-language motion pictures launched within the State. Ok. Vijayakumar, president of FEUOK, stated on Friday that the distributor will get a share of 55% within the first two weeks adopted by 50% and 40% respectively within the third and fourth weeks as per the reworked settlement.
The film is slated to achieve theatres on December 16.
