BEIJING, Dec 15 — The Chinese language peacekeeping infantry battalion to South Sudan (Juba) held a handover ceremony on the Chinese language camp of the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) in Juba, South Sudan, on December 13. This marks the profitable completion of the one-year peacekeeping mission of China’s eighth peacekeeping infantry battalion to South Sudan (Juba), and the start of the mission of the ninth.
Over the previous few days, the 2 contingents have handed over numerous gadgets together with autos and gear, weapons and ammunition, medical gear, logistic supplies, working recordsdata, and so on. In addition they exchanged views on the present safety scenario within the mission space and the precautions for finishing up missions to observe.
The ninth Chinese language peacekeeping infantry battalion to South Sudan (Juba) will concentrate on such peacekeeping missions as cordon and patrol, armed escort, separating conflicting events, rescue and evacuation.
In line with the plan, the 350 members of the second batch of the eighth Chinese language peacekeeping infantry battalion to South Sudan (Juba) will all return residence by constitution flight on December 21, whereas the opposite 350 members of the second batch of the ninth will arrive on the mission space synchronously.
