Oman LNG pens provide offers with three Japanese firms
State-owned Oman LNG on December 27 introduced it had signed binding time period sheet agreements to ship a complete of two.35mn metric tons/12 months of LNG to 3 Japanese firms.
Oman LNG will provide 0.8mn mt/yr of LNG every to Itochu Company and Jera whereas Mitsui & Co. will purchase 0.75mn mt/yr of the commodity. The deliveries to those firms will start in 2025.
“These agreements come as a basis stone for Oman LNG’s Past 2024 plans, the place it seeks to leverage its international market entry and discover new enterprise alternatives to help the nationwide financial system,” the corporate mentioned on Twitter.
Oman LNG is 51% owned by the federal government of Oman, 30% by Shell, 5.4% by Whole, 5% by Kogas, and Japanese and Omani companies personal different stakes of below 3%.
