COVINGTON, Ga. — Newton County Colleges introduced the 25 winners of the NCSS Elementary District Science and Engineering Truthful Wednesday.
Of the 25 prize winners, 10 college students gained first place, 9 took house second and 6 claimed a 3rd place prize. NCSS Elementary Curriculum and instruction specialist Christina Phyall says the district’s first place winners will symbolize Newton County Colleges within the Georgia School and State College Science and Engineering Truthful in Milledgeville in March.
Dr. Penny Mosley, director of Elementary Colleges for NCSS, had nothing however glowing remarks for all 25 of the prize-winning college students, in addition to those that didn’t place.
