The Taliban on Monday taunted Pakistan and warned of a befitting response after the nation’s inside minister Rana Sanaullah hinted at a doable navy operation in opposition to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) hideouts in Afghanistan.
Taliban chief and deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Yasir mocked Pakistan by sharing a photograph on Twitter of Islamabad surrendering to India after the 1971 battle that led to the formation of Bangladesh.
“Inside Minister of Pakistan! Glorious Sir! Afghanistan, Syria and Pakistan will not be Turkey to focus on the Kurds in Syria. That is Afghanistan, the graveyard of proud empires. Don’t consider a navy assault on us, in any other case, there can be a shameful repetition of the navy settlement with India,” Yasir stated.

Later within the day, Afghanistan’s defence ministry issued a press release refuting the claims of the Pakistani inside ministry that there are hideouts of TTP inside Afghanistan, terming it “false and provocative”.
“Prior to now, such provocative statements and claims have broken the connection between the 2 nations. We name on Pakistan to share its issues with the Islamic Emirates of Afghanistan (IEA) and resolve the matter by dialogue,” the assertion issued by the IEA’s interim Defence Minister Mullah Yaqoub said.
“Afghanistan isn’t ownerless or with none heirs and like at all times, is able to defend its nation and the territorial safety and its freedom. Any try of aggression perpetrated in the direction of Afghanistan can be responded to befittingly. We’re properly ready to answer any offensive,” the assertion added.
In a current interview to a Pakistani information channel, the minister had stated Islamabad might goal the TTP in Afghanistan if Kabul doesn’t take remove them.
“When these issues come up, we first ask Afghanistan, our Islamic brother nation, to remove these hideouts and hand over these people to us, but when that doesn’t occur, what you talked about is feasible,” Sanaullah had stated.
