Israeli safety forces foil an try and smuggle 22 handguns from Jordan into the West Financial institution, officers say.
Based on the Israel Protection Forces, troopers monitoring surveillance cameras noticed a suspect alongside the border, near the settlement of Yafit.
The person, a Palestinian from Jericho, has been arrested by IDF troops and cops dispatched to the scene, and the 22 handguns of their possession are seized, police say.
Incidents of weapon smuggling on the border with Jordan are frequent.
