A household was left homeless after their dwelling burned down in a hearth that was attributable to the explosion of a battery.
The incident occurred at 23:00 on January 12 in Kampong Thna village, Doung commune, Romeas Hek district, Svay Rieng.
Based on the district police, the proprietor of the home was Keo Oeun, a 64-year-old man.
The house was fully burned down together with their possessions, together with a small rice mill, a motorcycle, 4 baggage of rice, a big gasoline tank and 600,000 riels. Nobody was injured within the fireplace.
The authorities stated that the fireplace was attributable to the explosion of a photo voltaic batter, which was positioned below the house.
