Riyadh, Feb. 13 (BNA): The Bahraini-Qatari Comply with-up Committee held its first assembly on Monday on the headquarters of the Common Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in Riyadh.
The Bahraini delegation was headed by the Undersecretary for Political Affairs Shaikh Dr. Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and the Qatari delegation was headed by the Ministry of Overseas Affairs Secretary Common Dr. Ahmed Hassan Al Hammadi.
The 2 delegations pressured that the step was an embodiment of the directives of the leaderships of the 2 nations and their keenness to protect the GCC future and entity and to construct on its achievements.
The assembly reviewed the required measures and required mechanisms to make sure the success of the bilateral discussions to finish the pending points between the 2 nations in compliance with Al Ula assertion issued on the GCC summit in Al Ula in a approach that achieves the aspirations of the peoples of the 2 nations for safety, stability and prosperity.
The delegations agreed to carry periodic and steady conferences to attain the set targets.
