In a strongly worded speech, Prime Minister Hun Sen has instructed foreigners who help the shuttered VOD radio station that “I want to remind foreigners to not get entangled… Cambodia is just not your nation.”
The PM made his remarks on the ceremony of awarding certificates and diplomas to just about 2,000 vocational college students and college students of the College of Human Sources this morning, February 20, 2023, with an announcement that the Royal authorities won’t permit VOD to renew at any value – saying “That is an assault that isn’t a separate subject of Manet, however an insult to the Royal Authorities and creates distrust within the authorities, and a critical violation of the finances legislation that we can’t tolerate” .
