American actor and director Mark Ruffalo strongly condemned calls by Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich to wipe out the Palestinian city of Huwwara, north of the occupied West Financial institution.
The 55-year-old producer and actor took to his official Twitter web page to say that Israeli officers within the right-wing authorities led by Benjamin Netanyahu must be denied entry visas to the USA.
“They’re saying the quiet half out loud. It’s time to sanction the brand new arduous right-wing authorities of Netanyahu and deny them visas for his or her calls of genocide,” he tweeted.
Advocacy Teams Urge US to Ban Smotrich over Racist Name to ‘Wipe out’ Huwwara
“That is why Amnesty Worldwide calls it apartheid and why it’s apartheid,” Ruffalo concluded.
The US State Division condemned Smotrich’s feedback and mentioned the remarks have been “repugnant, irresponsible, and disgusting.”
A rising variety of advocacy teams are urging the US to disclaim Smotrich entry to the nation.
