VALDOSTA — Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Kappa Tau Lambda Chapter hosted the biannual management convention for younger males Saturday, March 4.
The convention was held at Valdosta State College Well being Science and Enterprise Constructing for younger males 11-18 years-old.
Dr. Samuel Clemons Jr., convention co-chair, mentioned, “the convention is designed to supply younger males with present and correct details about turning into profitable males.”
The objectives are to teach younger males by sharing information by combating ignorance and concern with factual data, altering attitudes by offering motivation towards optimistic adjustments in sexual conduct, offering expertise by creating a way of empowerment and shallowness.
Chapter member Butch Williams was the primary speaker with the subject “How do I contribute to the family?” and ideas for future success.
Clemons mentioned the Lowndes-Valdosta space goals to supply educational and faculty readiness, civil and neighborhood engagement, and profession readiness.
The Kappa Tau Lambda members introduced data in a sequence of workshops for the younger males to be interact, study and ask questions.
Following the convention there was a cookout held at McKey Park Tennis Middle.
