A British Muslim convert who allegedly travelled to Syria for terrorism has pleaded not responsible to a string of expenses.
Aine Leslie Davis, 39, previously from London, was arrested and charged after returning to the UK at Luton Airport final August.
On Friday Davis pleaded not responsible to possession of a firearm opposite to Part 57 of the Terrorism Act 2000, and two expenses referring to the funding of terrorism.
The primary cost alleges that between 28 July 2013 and 16 January 2014 he possessed a firearm ‘in circumstances which give rise to an affordable suspicion that the possession is for a goal linked with the fee preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism’.

The second cost alleges that in January 2014 he invited ‘a number of others to supply cash and supposed that it might be used – or had affordable trigger to suspect – that it might or could also be used for the needs of terrorism’.
The third cost alleges he entered into an association along with his then-wife Amal El-Wahabi and others to earn a living obtainable for the needs of terrorism.
The defendant entered his pleas on the Previous Bailey throughout a listening to earlier than Choose Mark Lucraft KC.
