The Supreme Courtroom on Monday requested the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to carry its investigation into allegations that the BJP conspired to poach Telangana’s Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) legislators.
“The investigation is to not be continued whereas the matter is sub judice or it is going to turn into infructuous. That’s the thumb rule,” a Bench led by Justice Sanjiv Khanna orally stated.
The Telangana authorities has argued within the Supreme Courtroom that transferring the case to the CBI would show ineffective because it was “managed by the BJP”.

The State had on November 9 ordered the organising of a seven-member Particular Investigation Group (SIT) to probe the alleged try and poach the MLAs. The Excessive Courtroom subsequently transferred the case from the SIT to the CBI.
Three individuals — Ramachandra Bharati alias Satish Sharma, Nandu Kumar and Simhayaji Swamy — have been already named as accused within the case after a grievance was lodged by BRS MLA Pilot Rohith Reddy, amongst 4 legislators, in opposition to them on October 26.
The trio was arrested whereas they have been allegedly attempting to lure the 4 MLAs of the ruling BRS to affix the BJP. Just lately, they have been granted bail by the Excessive Courtroom.
As per the First Info Report copy, Mr. Reddy alleged that the accused supplied him ₹100 crore and in return the legislator needed to depart the TRS, now BRS, and contest as a BJP candidate within the subsequent Meeting election.
That they had allegedly requested Mr. Reddy to convey extra BRS MLAs by providing ₹50 crore every to affix the BJP.
