Prime Minister Narendra Modi too expressed condolences on Harmless’s demise. In a tweet, the PM stated, “Pained by the passing away of famous actor and former MP Shri Harmless Vareed Thekkethala. He might be remembered for enthralling audiences and filling individuals’s lives with humour. Condolences to his household and admirers. Might his soul relaxation in peace.”
Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan shared that Harmless’s demise is a big loss for Kerala. “The passing of actor, parliamentarian, and fellow comrade Harmless leaves us deeply saddened. His easy onscreen performances and robust political interventions have made him an indelible a part of our cultural reminiscence. In mourning with household, pals, and fellow movie lovers,” the CM tweeted.
