The Bharatiya Janata Get together (BJP) on Tuesday launched its first checklist of 189 candidates. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai will contest the Shiggaon Meeting seat and nationwide normal secretary of BJP CT Ravi will battle for the Chikmagluru seat. The announcement comes after the get together’s Central Election Committee and Parliamentary Board assembly concluded on Sunday after which once more deliberated over sure names on Monday.
