VALDOSTA — Lowndes Excessive College hosted its spring artwork competitors awards reception earlier this month.
Amber Anderson gained third place for her paper mache, “Spidey,” Sophia Gonzalez gained second place for her acrylic portray, “The Presence of your Absence,” and Sophie Buehrer gained first place for her acrylic, “Bomb Pop.”
Amelia Music obtained Finest in Present for her paper mache, “Griffin.”
Honorable point out recipients are Kendall Johnson, Anderson, Drew Barnes, Olivia Anderson, Amelia Music, Emme Kirkland, Jada Robinson, Daniela Viveros Galindo and Flint Fosdick.
Daisy Taylor, visible arts trainer, stated, “The spring artwork competitors celebrates artists and their work all year long.
“The spring artwork competitors is open to all college students, even those that should not in artwork courses for a small entry payment. The proceeds go in direction of prizes, certificates and meals for the reception and awards.”

Madison Sales space, eleventh grade, offered her watercolor portray, “Le Mouton.”

Sales space stated because the ninth grade she has loved being part of the artwork division at LHS and studying about artwork mediums.
Katie Garner, twelfth grade, offered her acrylic “Life in a Portray.” Her piece was Nineteen Eighties music impressed together with her favourite issues.

Taylor stated the artwork competitors is sponsored by the Nationwide Arts Honor Society. NAHS members assisted with curating the artwork items, selling the competitors entry and reception, and aiding with serving refreshments on the reception.
