India’s Ministry of Exterior Affairs Secretary (East), Saurabh Kumar on Saturday met prime officers of Cambodia and Vietnam on the final day of the sixth Indian Ocean Convention in Dhaka.
He additionally met Secretary Generals of BIMSTEC (Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Financial Cooperation), and of SAARC (South Asian Affiliation for Regional Cooperation).
Each international locations, India and Cambodia agreed to strengthen cooperation in improvement initiatives, and cultural cooperation together with the restoration of temples, in Kumar’s assembly with Dr SoeungRathchavy, Secretary of State, MoFA Cambodia.

In his assembly with Deputy Minister of Vietnam, Do Hung Viet, each international locations expressed satisfaction on the progress in India-Vietnam Complete Strategic Partnership.
MEA Secretary (East) additionally met Secretary Normal of BIMSTEC, Tenzin Lekphell and congratulated him for efficiently holding BIMSTEC Ministerial Assembly in March 2023.
In his assembly with Esala Ruwan the outgoing Secretary Normal of SAARC, Kumar expressed his gratitude for his management and his contributions to the organisation.
