Sixty-three intending haj pilgrims comprising Ministry of Schooling (MoE) officers and workers have been feted in a Doa Selamat on the ministry’s Utama Banquet Corridor yesterday.
Minister of Schooling Datin Seri Setia Dr Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Salleh was the visitor of honour.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Mosque Affairs Officer from the Division of Mosque Affairs of the Brunei-Muara District Muhamad Amin bin Haji Salim, adopted by a lecture on haj ‘Meraih Haji Yang Mabrur’ by Spiritual Growth Officer on the Islamic Da’wah Centre Haji Muskrisman Safari bin Haji Mustafa.
The ceremony continued with the presentation of donations to the pilgrims by the minister.
The occasion concluded with a recitation of Doa Selamat.
The ceremony was held by the Division of Administration and Companies in collaboration with the Entrepreneurship Innovation Centre, MoE.
The ceremony aimed to hunt blessings of Allah the Almighty for the intending pilgrims for cover, security, and good well being to fulfil the haj in addition to to uphold the spirit of worship and group among the many ministry’s officers and workers.
