Islamabad [Pakistan], Might 29 (ANI): Three kids have been injured in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Battagram district after two earthquakes struck components of Pakistan on Sunday, officers stated, in keeping with Pakistan-based Daybreak newspaper.
In keeping with the Pakistan Meteorological Division (PMD), the primary earthquake of magnitude 6.0 with its epicentre being the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border area, struck at 10:50 am, at a depth of 223 km.
The second earthquake of magnitude 4.7 was reported at 5:57 pm. Its epicentre was close to Jalalabad in Afghanistan and struck at a depth of 15 km, PDM stated.
Tremors have been felt in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and several other districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Although no casualties have been reported, three kids have been injured within the Hado space of Batkol in Battagram.
Medical superintendent of the District Headquarters Hospital Battagram, Muhammad Naeem advised Daybreak that three kids have been introduced facility earlier as we speak.
Hamid Khan, the youngsters’s uncle, stated the siblings have been taking part in on the roof of the cattle pen which collapsed throughout the earthquake.
