The Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE) has constituted two committees – Islamabad/Rawalpindi Committee and Punjab Committee – for the 12 months 2023-24.
Islamabad/Rawalpindi Committee shall be chaired by Sardar Khan Niazi whereas Yahya Sadozai shall be its deputy chairman.
This committee goals at defending the pursuits of CPNE member newspapers and journals working within the federal capital and organising features, workshops and seminars for the print media to advertise its requirements.
Different members of the committee embrace former CPNE president Kazim Khan, Tahir Farooq, Salman Masood, Shakeel Ahmed Turabi, Mian Abrar, Mumtaz Ahmed Sadiq, Rao Khalid Mahmood, Javed Baloch, Abdul Salam Bathtub, Tazeen Akhtar, Sajjad Abbasi, Mian Fazal Elahi, Kasur Jameel Rohani, Aamir Ilyas, Safeer Hussain Shah, Khalilur Rehman and Muhammad Ali Zanjani.
The Punjab Committee shall be chaired by Yousuf Nizami whereas Ayaz Khan shall be its deputy chairman.
