Al Khuwair service roads to be converted into one-way to reduce traffic congestion

MUSCAT: Muscat Municipality is planning to transform the service street adjoining to the primary Sultan Qaboos Avenue in Al Khuwair right into a one-way street.

In an announcement issued, the Municipality mentioned the mission contains changing six kilometers of service roads into one-way roads with two lanes in a single path, ranging from the intersection of Al Khuwair Avenue, Highway till the intersection of Ministries Avenue (beneath the bridge).

The municipality may also assemble two further entry factors to the primary Sultan Qaboos Avenue alongside the service street, in addition to on the finish of the service street.
