The Seik Mu village administration workplace was raided on Wednesday morning. These killed had been being held over drug offenses and workplace workers, mentioned a KIO administrator from a neighboring village.
“They had been closely armed and shelled first. They shot anybody they noticed. Different individuals had been injured. There have been no KIA [Kachin Independence Army] troops within the village,” he mentioned.
Round 25 individuals had been detained, together with drug detainees and KIO workplace workers and guards, in keeping with a resident.
The KIO has made no official assertion.
Junta troops left the village after a number of hours, torched the KIO workplace and shot at random within the village. No civilian casualties had been reported.

In response, Kachin Folks’s Defence Pressure (PDF) attacked three junta administrative places of work in Mohnyin Township, Kachin State, on Wednesday.
