BHOPAL: Reacting to the demolition of Dalit houses, Congress normal secretary Priyanka Gandhi on Friday hit out at BJP saying that the atrocities towards the neighborhood has reached its peak.

“The households who had gone to work as labourers, their houses had been demolished with out giving any data. The homes constructed underneath the PM Awas Yojana had been additionally demolished. On Thursday, Madhya Pradesh administration demolished 10 houses in Sagar district. Out of those houses, seven had been constructed underneath Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) scheme. The state administration claimed that the houses had been constructed on the forest land.

Rajya Sabha MP Digvijaya Singh sat on protest towards the federal government’s motion on Friday. His protest prompted Sagar District Collector Deepak Arya and SP Abhishek Tiwari alongside the opposite officers to hitch the protests and demand an apology.
