KABUL, June 27 (Xinhua) — Native authorities have destroyed 100 tons of expired meals and drinks together with tender drinks in Bagrami, a suburb of Afghanistan’s capital Kabul, the Nationwide Meals and Drug Administration stated in a press release on Tuesday.
“About 100 tons of expired meals and drinks together with a wide range of tender drinks had been collected from outlets and drug shops over the previous two months and set on fireplace on Monday,” the assertion stated.
The destroyed meals gadgets included biscuits, jam, honey, tomato paste, dates and dried fruits, in accordance with the assertion.
In the same crackdown, authorities within the southern Kandahar metropolis destroyed 1,000 tons of expired foodstuff and drugs weeks in the past.
The Afghan caretaker authorities has vowed to crack down on unlawful sale and disposal of spoiled meals gadgets and drugs within the nation.
