Following a strict order from PM Hun Sen to fight unidentified drones which might be violating Cambodia’s borders, over 500 troops have been urgently dispatched to the world
On the afternoon of June 27, 2023, Honorary Common Hing Bun Heang, Deputy Commander-in-Chief and Commander of the Bodyguard Command despatched 500 troops with 200 weapons went to the border space in Ratanakkiri province bordering Vietnam to shoot down drones flying into Cambodian territory.
