TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, July 10. Andi Aranitasi
has been appointed Director and Head of the European Financial institution for
Reconstruction and Improvement (EBRD) Workplace in Uzbekistan,
Development stories.
He’ll start his duties in Tashkent on September 1, the EBRD
workplace in Uzbekistan mentioned.
Andi Aranitasi will succeed Alkis Drakinos, who has led the EBRD
in Uzbekistan since resuming cooperation with the nation in 2017.
Drakinos was appointed regional head of the EBRD’s Caucasus workplace
in Tbilisi.
Aranitasi has over 25 years of expertise in banking,
manufacturing, telecommunications, agribusiness, actual property,
tourism and vitality. He has held numerous senior positions within the
vitality divisions of the EBRD and was chargeable for the
growth, implementation and portfolio administration of vitality
initiatives in Türkiye and South Japanese Europe. Previous to his
appointment to Uzbekistan, he represented the EBRD in North
Macedonia.
