62-year-old man shot dead in Ambalantota

A 62-year-old man was shot useless by unidentified gunmen within the space of Koggalla in Ambalantota this morning (July 19).

In keeping with Police, three unidentified people had arrived on the residence and had reportedly been wanting by one of many home windows for the sufferer’s son early this morning (July 19).

At the moment a small woman who was learning inside a room had seen it and yelled out.

Thereafter, the sufferer had stepped out from the again door with a torch to examine the commotion and at that second gunmen had opened fireplace on the sufferer and fled the scene.

A number of hours later, Sri Lanka Police arrested two males over the homicide.
