The Ta’ang Nationwide Liberation Military (TNLA) claimed to have defeated Myanmar regime forces throughout a conflict in Muse Township, northern Shan State, on Wednesday.
Over six hours of clashes broke out close to Nar Htan and Gaung Yar villages in Muse close to the Chinese language border on Wednesday when 4 junta battalions and pro-regime militias tried to raid TNLA bases, the ethnic minority group stated.
The highly effective TNLA has been combating for autonomy for the ethnic Palaung or Ta’ang individuals in northern Shan State.
The regime troops retreated after struggling heavy losses, it stated.
The TNLA claimed 10 regime troopers had been killed and 13 injured.

The group submitted images of seized regime weapons and a big amount of ammunition.
Citing residents, Shan Information reported that two civilians suffered accidents in shelling throughout Wednesday’s conflict. Over 200 residents fled their properties, it stated.
The TNLA stated 9 clashes with regime forces broke out within the space between July 23 to August 2, through which 25 regime troopers had been killed and 27 injured, whereas a junta soldier was detained alive.
