Aam Aadmi Social gathering MP Raghav Chadha has been suspended from Rajya Sabha and a report has been submitted to the privileges committee. His suspension was authorised on the grounds of gross violation of guidelines and contemptuous conduct.
He will probably be reinstated solely after the committee submits a report on his case.
“I discover it expedient to refer the matter to the Committee of Privileges…suspension order dated twenty fourth July 2023 might proceed past the present session until the Council has the good thing about suggestion by the Committee of Privileges,” Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar stated.
The expulsion comes a day after Chadha challenged BJP to show that he cast the signatures of 4 members of parliament.
In a press convention held on Thursday, Chadha stated, “I problem the BJP leaders to deliver the paper on which cast signatures have been executed.”
Earlier this week, Raghav Chadha was accused of forging the signatures of 4 MPs, who stated that he had proposed their names to ship the Delhi NCT Modification Invoice to the Choose Committee panel with out their consent.
