KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 12 — The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) confirmed that there was an incident of provocation in entrance of a district police headquarters (IPD) on the east coast which went viral on social media yesterday.
Deputy Inspector-Basic of Police Datuk Seri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay stated the PDRM is investigating a video clip of a person being assaulted by a number of males at an IPD.
“I can affirm that the incident occurred at an IPD on the east coast and our investigation is ongoing.
“Maybe, there might need been provocations resulting in the incident and the state police chief will maintain a press convention concerning the incident,” he stated in a particular press convention after inspecting the polling centre at Sekolah Kebangsaan Klang Gate right here in the present day.
