KABUL, Aug. 21 (Xinhua) — A committee of Afghanistan’s Ministry of Larger Schooling mentioned it was engaged on a plan to reopen universities for feminine college students, native media reported on Monday.
The committee mentioned throughout an annual report briefing of the ministry that they “will share it with the general public if the plan is finalized,” the native TOLOnews TV reported.
The media outlet quoted Appearing Deputy Minister of Larger Schooling Lutfullah Khairkhwa as saying that the plan’s finalization time was nonetheless not clear.
To this point females have been banned from universities in Afghanistan. The Ministry of Larger Schooling introduced restrictions on females’ training in December 2022.
