By command of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, it’s hereby introduced that His Majesty has consented to the advice of Majlis Mesyuarat Adat Istiadat to strip the membership of the Privy Council and title of Pehin Orang Kaya Shahbandar which has been bestowed to Haji Awang Mohd Nawawi bin Pehin Orang Kaya Shahbandar Haji Awang Mohd Taha in addition to stripping all state decorations and medals bestowed upon him.
The date of stripping his membership and title together with all state decorations and medals took into impact yesterday.
