The Justice of the Peace’s Courtroom on Thursday heard the returning case of three overseas nationals who’re dealing with fees of cash laundering and conspiring.
Messrs Yusof Halim and Companions lawyer Pengiran Khairul Nizam bin Pengiran Haji Mohd Yassin is now representing Vietnamese man Bui Van Tam, 36, and Vietnamese girl Le Thi Ngoc Tien, 32.
Lawyer Ahmad Basuni Abas from the agency Abrahams Davidson and Co is representing Vietnamese girl Nguyen Thi Huong, 38.
Whereas the trio haven’t entered any pleas, Bui Van Tam is alleged to have dedicated cash laundering by transferring VND64,574,000 from his checking account in Vietnam to a different account on the similar financial institution.
Nguyen Thi Huong and Le Thi Ngoc Tien are presupposed to have conspired within the cash laundering offence allegedly dedicated by Bui Van Tam.
Justice of the Peace Syaffina binti Shahif adjourned the case to November 4, making method for the attorneys to look into their shoppers’ case.
