Teen arrested at Matanzas Excessive Faculty in Flagler County
FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – A 16-year-old pupil bit a Matanzas Excessive Faculty workers member who was attempting to interrupt up a battle, based on the Flagler County Sheriff’s Workplace.
Deputies mentioned the lady was in a battle with one other lady on Friday when the workers member tried to separate the 2 college students.
The sheriff’s workplace mentioned the workers member was bitten on the forearm after they positioned their arm across the pupil.

“This lack of respect for lecturers and workers is not going to be tolerated in our faculties,” Sheriff Rick Staly mentioned in a launch. “Faculty workers and lecturers are right here to show you. Don’t battle at school. It takes an even bigger particular person to stroll away from a battle and de-escalate the state of affairs than to have interaction in a battle or assault a college member. Mother and father, speak and educate your college students the best way to deal with disagreements and that preventing is just not the answer.”
The teenager was arrested for battery on a college official and was taken to the Florida Division of Juvenile Justice.
