Eclipse is an occasion that portrays the supremacy of Allah the Almighty. When it happens, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) encourages ummah to hold out actions similar to supplicating zikir, praying and giving charity.
This was highlighted in a sermon on Sunday morning in view of the partial lunar eclipse that occurred round daybreak.
The sermon highlighted that when the phenomenon takes place, Muslims are urged to take classes from it by remembering the greatness of Allah the Almighty and in search of forgiveness for sins that they’ve dedicated.
The sunat prayers in view of the partial lunar eclipse have been held at mosques, suraus and non secular halls nationwide.
At Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien mosque within the capital, the prayer was led by mosque officer Begawan Mudim Awang Haji Amran bin Haji Mohd Salleh.
