KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 5 (Bernama) — A Malaysia Airways flight scheduled to depart from Kuala Lumpur to Chennai in India has been cancelled as a result of closure of Chennai Airport (MAA) attributable to the floods.
In its journey advisory in the present day, the nationwide airline stated flight MH182 scheduled to depart Kuala Lumpur at 9:10 am on Dec 5, 2023, to MAA has been cancelled.
“The return leg (through) MH183 can even be cancelled,” it stated.
The airport in Chennai has been closed since 9.17 am yesterday as a result of adversarial climate.
“Passengers booked on these flights could select to defer journey till Dec 19, 2023, or request to be rebooked on flights to Bangalore and Hyderabad (topic to availability) or go for a refund,” the airline stated.
