LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) jailed activist Sanam Javed will contest elections towards Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz from Lahore’s provincial meeting seat, her father mentioned on Tuesday.
Sanam is amongst dozens of PTI staff and leaders who’re in custody in reference to the Could 9 riots that broke out following the arrest of then celebration chairman Imran Khan in a graft case.

As per the ballot schedule, the Election Fee of Pakistan (ECP) will begin receiving nomination papers from potential candidates tomorrow (December 20).
