MUSCAT : A number of expatriate employees have been arrested in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate for violating the Labour Regulation on Thursday after the inspection staff raided some houses.
In a press release issued the Ministry of Labour stated its inspection staff arrested expats in some houses in Al Ghafat within the Wilayat of Bahla.
“Quite a few expatriate workforces have been arrested in violation of the provisions of the Labor Regulation, and authorized measures are being taken towards them,” the Ministry added.
