NEW DELHI: The Rajasthan authorities on Friday divvied up portfolios between the newly sworn-in ministers, with chief minister Bhajanlal Sharma maintaining 8 departments together with house, excise and anti-corruption bureau.
Deputy CM Diya Kumari has been allotted 6 departments together with finance, tourism, and girls & youngster improvement.
Deputy CM Prem Chand Bairwa has been given 4 departments together with increased schooling, and street transport & highways.
Rajasthan minister Dr Kirodi Lal Meena has been given cost of 4 departments together with agriculture and rural improvement.
Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore has been allotted 5 departments together with commerce and business, and sports activities.
A lot of the leaders are first-time ministers. The portfolio announcement comes 15 days after the brand new BJP authorities was fashioned after unseating the Congress.
