Cambodian Individuals’s Get together (CPP) on Sunday celebrated the forty fifth anniversary of the January 7 victory over genocide at koCambodiansh Pich centre, with CPP president Hun Sen urging all Cambodian to safeguard the hard-earned peace.
January 7 marks the day when the Khmer Rouge genocidal regime was overthrown.
Tens of 1000’s of Cambodians attended the occasion, together with senior CPP officers, authorities leaders, civil servants from varied authorities establishments, friends from overseas, diplomats, college students, and guests from different nations.
CPP president Hun Sen presided over the occasion, with the attendance of CPP honorary President Heng Samrin and Vice-President Hun Manet. Mr Hun Sen mentioned on the occasion that peace may be very worthwhile for everybody.
“We should unite to guard the hard-won peace in order that it’s long-lasting,” he mentioned.
