Man, five women detained over immoral activities

An area man, his spouse and 4 international girls have been detained by the Playing Suppression and Anti-Vice Unit for alleged prostitution actions.

In line with the Royal Brunei Police Pressure (RBPF), authorities carried out raids in three completely different places, one at lodgings in Gadong, one other on the male suspect’s office and the final at a home owned by the male suspect.

The feminine suspects believed to be concerned in prostitution are aged between 22 and 27 whereas the male, aged 32, is believed to be the bapa ayam (pimp), stated the RBPF.

Proof uncovered embody condoms, lubricant and money. The male suspect’s spouse, a foreigner, was additionally detained for additional investigation.

All suspects and proof have been introduced again to the Legal Investigation Division.

The RBPF stated the case is being investigated underneath Chapter 22, Part 294A of the Legal Process Code and Chapter 120 of the Girls and Women Safety Act. – James Kon
