KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 31 — An Indonesian man in his 20s was fatally shot after aggressively attacking policemen with a machete in an house in Bukit Subang, Selangor, this night.
Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan stated the person was a suspect within the homicide of a 19-year-old Indonesian girl who was discovered useless with eight stab wounds in Sungai Means, Petaling Jaya final Monday.
He stated a police crew from the Selangor Contingent Legal Investigation Division (CID) and Petaling Jaya District Police Headquarters carried out a raid on the house at about 5.30pm in reference to the homicide case.
“Stress escalated as the person attacked the policemen with a machete and in a determined bid for self-defence a single gunshot was fired by the police,” he stated.
