His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, on Thursday graced the Sovereign’s Parade Ceremony for the 22nd Consumption of Officer Cadets of the Officer Cadet College which was held on the Parade Sq. of the Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) in Kampung Tanah Jambu.
Accompanying His Majesty had been His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister on the Prime Minister’s Workplace and His Royal Highness 920 Main (U) Prince ‘Abdul Mateen.
A complete of 54 officer cadets (34 males and 20 females) had been commissioned throughout the ceremony.
Twenty-nine (29) officer cadets had been commissioned as Royal Brunei Land Pressure (RBLF) officers, 12 officer cadets as Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) officers, 11 officer cadets as Royal Brunei Air Pressure (RBAirF) officers, and two others are worldwide officer cadets from the Malaysian Armed Forces and Singapore Armed Forces.
