Leaders congratulated by lawmakers on BDF anniversary

Manama, Feb. 5 (BNA): Lawmakers have prolonged their deepest congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, on the 56th anniversary of the institution of the Bahrain Defence Pressure (BDF).

In statements on the event, a number of members of the Council of Representatives and the Shura Council lauded the superior stage reached by the BDF.

On this regard, Adel bin Abdulrahman Al Asoomi, Shura Council member and Arab Parliament Speaker, hailed the landmark achievements of the BDF since its institution due to the sound visions and management of HM the King, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, strengthening its function in endeavor its sacred duties of defending the nation, in addition to defending its positive aspects and territorial integrity.
