MUSCAT: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Awqaf and Spiritual Affairs, marked the blessed anniversary of Al Isra’a Wal Miraj on Thursday in an occasion within the Wilayat of Suhar on Thursday. The celebration featured many creative performances and poetry recitals which recalled the miraculous evening journey and ascension of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The ceremony was held underneath the auspices of Mohammed bin Sulaiman bin Hamoud al Kindi, Governor of Al Batinah North, members of the Council of Oman and residents.
